Chris Middleton, founder of Chrysalis Marketing has enjoyed a rich and varied career which has fostered the skills she uses to assist businesses in fulfilling their dreams. Armed with a degree in English and Education from the University of Minnesota, Chris entered the hospitality industry at the bottom rung. Along the way she developed a side business in selling handmade leather goods. This experience as an entrepenuer taught her the pleasures and pain of being a business owner and an artisan.

As Chris’ career in the hospitality industry gathered steam, she focused her interest in hotel marketing, tourism and environmental sustainability. Chris’ leadership skills have been utilized in her role as commissioner on the California Travel & Tourism Commission, California Lodging Industry Association President and on the Board of Directors for the San Mateo County Convention & Visitors Bureau. Chris’ passion for community service was well served in her 10 year membership in Belmont Rotary Club.
